I am a creature of jewels, gems, crystals.. but, stone is a close enough description, I guess. I’m not so inclined to destroy the magic that poisoned my kind and my home, nor the people who did it, but I wish to end the conflict entirely. I wish to bring peace to the land, an ambassador if you will, so my kind (the brackern) can return once more.
Perhaps, Skarner… I don’t mean to sound as if I don’t trust you, but…

To answer your question, while it takes a little help from the shopkeeper to equip armor and such, I use the nooks in my crystals to store certain items until the time i need them, such as said Hextech Gunblade. When I do need to use it, why, my claws aren’t too big to clamp down on such objects!

I find it both saddening and rewarding at the same time. While Kalamanda is where my home is, as well as all of the other hibernating brackern, deep and hibernating underground, it also tells the story of just what war does to such a beautiful place. What was once a haven is now a scar upon the world, one that cannot be hidden, or healed.
Does nobody have any questions to ask me? I am open to anything, and will answer any question you throw at me to the best of my ability!
My name is Skarner, and long introductory aside, I am essentially the last of my kind alive right now. I am centuries old, and lived during the time before the Rune Wars. Unfortunately, because of these wars, my people were poisoned, and what was left of us were forced underground, to stay and hibernate until our time came to where we could live peacefully once more.
I am one of the few that were chosen to hibernate closest to the surface. We were chosen to act as pioneers for the new world we hoped to emerge in, yet it seems that is not the case, at least not right now. My one and only goal is to make Runeterra a safe home for my race, even if I must die trying.
